Offense

4th down rule: Must punt on 4th down unless losing in the game by 24 points or more or if losing in the 4th quarter or overtime. No other exceptions. Until ea releases a tuner set to make it more difficult to convert 4th downs we will punt on 4th down in this league.

No huddle offense is only allowed with 2 minutes or less remaining in the 2nd and 4th quarter.

motioning players. You may not snap the ball with a player in motion. Any player in motion must be set before the ball is snapped. Automotion routes are excluded from this rule.

catching passes: you may NEVER switch over to the receiver to manually catch passes. So do not attempt rocketcatches or just lob deep passes all game so you can switch over to the receiver, jump the route and manually catch the pass.

Offensive position changes:
NO receivers in the backfield except for wildcat plays.

Playcalling:
Do not call the same 5 plays all games long. Mix up your playcalling.

QB Movement: Do not always rollout with your qb. If you have a mobile qb, limit your rollouts to once every 4 plays. I don't want to penalize people who have a mobile qb but I don't want people running around with the qb in circles all game. Once approximately every 4 plays is fair. Not even Vick runs on more than 25% of pass plays.

If no one is open you can run with the qb as much as you want as long as you made more than 1 or 2 reads in the pocket. If someone is running a lot with their qb. Just use a qb spy to stop them.

If the defense blitzes you then you can run as much as you want with the qb. What I don't want in the league is a person who sprints backwards 15 yards with their qb and fires deep passes down the field all game. That's arcadish and unrealistic. Or someone that sprints out of the pocket on nearly every play even with no defensive pressure. Those tactics will land you back in the lobbies playing ranked games. Being allowed to run with your quarterback on a maximum of 25% of your pass plays is fair.

You are not allowed to spam your tightend.
If your tightend is consistently leading your team in pass catches every game and your wide receivers catch only 0-3 passes each game then you will not remain in the league. There will be some games where your tightend is your leading receiver but for him to be your leading receiver nearly every game or in every game is cheese.

2 point conversion
only when necessary.

You cannot pass pver 80% of the time or run the ball over 80% of the time. Mix up your playcalling. Exceptions are if you're losing by a lot of points then you may pass as much as you need to or if you're winning by a lot of points and you are trying to finish the game you may run as much as you want.


Defense

Turbo blitzing is banned.
Do this once and you will be removed from the league.

A minimum of 2 defensive players must be rushing the qb on every play.
QB spys and qb contain do not count as pass rushers. Do not drop 10 or 11 players into coverage. That isn't allowed in our league.

Defensive player movement:
You may only manually move a maximum of 2 players prior to the snap and MUST user control the second player you move. You are never allowed to move a defensive lineman prior to the snap except for using the L1 button. Do not manually pull a defensive lineman off of the line of scrimmage prior to the snap.

Do not stack a defensive player directly behind a lineman or any other player.
This is an exploit, known as a nano blitz. One violation and you will be removed from the league.

Defensive playcalling:
Do not call the same defensive formation and play all game. If man or zone coverage is your strength you can call that most of the game but not on nearly 100% of your plays.

Special teams:
You may never manually move any special teams player prior to the snap.

Do not play any offensive players on defense and vice versa.


Childish things not allowed in our league: wow there are so many I can't list them all but I'll try.

Do not user control a defensive player and run him around in circles prior to the snap or weave him left and right prior to the snap. This is childish and isn't allowed in our league.

Do not run up the score. Treat every member of our league with respect.

If you are disconnected from your opponent you must recreate the score when restarting the game. So for example if you were disconnected when the score was 0-17. You must allow your oppenent to score 2 touchdowns and 1 fieldgoal when you restart the game. To do this just call fieldgoal block and have your opponent throw a touchdown pass. Then when you receive the ball you must punt on 1st down. After your opponent receives the ball, call fieldgoal block again and let him score a second td. Then after he kicks the ball off to you, punt it again on 1st down. then call fieldgoal block again to allow him to throw a pass to his receiver to your 10 yard line which is where he will run out of bounds. Then he will kick a fieldgoal.

If he had the ball when the two of you were disconnected then after letting him score 17 points against you, you will have to punt the ball to him one more time on 1st down after he kicksoff to you.

This is fair to both players and will prevent people from pulling the plug in the 1st half just because they were losing.

The score MUST be recreated no exceptions.

If you were disconnected in the 2nd half then the game can be counted and not restarted. It's entirely up to the person winning the game whether he wants to count the game or not.

I can't list every rule so please play straight sim nfl football.
Everyone will lose at some point in our league so handle a loss with class. If someone broke a league rule they will be removed after their 1st offense so let me know if any gameplay rules were broken.
